Wood Mode
The Senator model is ideal for those who favor
especially fine wood. All exposed timber components
are made of the tropical mahogany-meranti variety
while the frame construction consists of Nordic
timber. In addition, the tongue and groove connections
are joined with waterproof glue prior to the structure
being submerged in an eco-friendly wood preservative
that ensures proper curing of all timber components.
The procedure ends with the application of an
open grain, high density varnish for a warm gloss.

Furthermore, a heavy-duty aluminum juncture strip
encompassing the foundation of the support frame
base prevents the timber from cracking when the
chair is moved about. To facilitate various angles
of inclination, the hood is adjusted via a slip
fitting that ensures a super smooth operation
of the traditional pin and hole system.
Senator is available as semi recliner or full
recliner, in plastic wickerwork, featuring a variety
of colors, as well as natural cane or osier. If
you wish to replace the tropical wood trim on
the awning it can be substituted with a handmade
wicker braid at no additional cost. As with other
models, the replacement of the upholstery set
on the seat and the back part of the footrests
are easily substituted.
