SunCastle, Inc. guarantees that the timber used on our line of lounge chairs is well seasoned, professionally dried and joined with waterproof glue.

Diverse forms of timber are utilized in different models including the following:

Solid Nordic timber is used in the Classic and Konsul models. Since it is cured up
to three times with an excellent wood preservative, it is extremely durable.

Solid Mahogany-meranti is used for the exposed timber components of the
Senator® and Präsident® models and then finished with a dense, glossy varnish.
Hence the exposed surface is silky soft, giving the wicker a very elegant
appearance.

Solid Teak is our finest timber. Due to its natural waterproofing, treatment using
wood preservatives is never necessary. In fact, Solid Teak does not rot or warp,
even in extreme temperatures.

Painted timber provides an interesting accent to the look of the SunCastle
lounge chair and is used as an additional special varnish. Colors are available in
green, white, black or blue. Despite the fact that the timber is painted in the color of
your choice, the natural grain of the wood is fully preserved. This feature is available at an additional charge for all models except for Teak and the Konsul Seagrass models.
