WICKERWORK CHOICES
Plastic wickerwork is available in several
interesting colors, ultra violet ray resistant
and extremely durable.
Natural wickerwork is very durable and
can even handle getting wet occasionally. Due
to the slick glossy finish, rain drops just run
off. At the same time the material is known to
"breathe." If primarily kept dry, natural
wickerwork is a master of longevity as demonstrated
by old cane chairs and wicker baskets.
Plastic in rattan or seagrass imitations
looks intriguingly like the real thing and is
identical to the colored plastic wickerwork. An
excellent alternative to natural materials, yet
only available for the Konsul® two-seater.
Fine rattan is an especially precious
natural wicker material.
